What technologies are inside the combi card?
Two independent credentials in one ISO card: a DS1990A-compatible Touch Memory contact plus an RFID chip — EM4100, T5577 or Mifare. Which chip types are offered is confirmed in the quote.
Why would a site need both in one card?
For gradual migration: the same card is intended to work with legacy TM doors and new RFID readers, so a site can modernise door by door instead of re-issuing every credential at once. Subject to testing with your own readers and controllers.
Can the RFID side be duplicated like the TM side?
With the T5577 option it may be — that chip is intended to be programmable to EM4100-class IDs with a suitable duplicator (test a sample; acceptance depends on your reader, controller and firmware), while writing the TM side to RW1990 blanks requires separate confirmation of the supplied version and duplicator firmware, followed by sample tests. Mifare versions follow that system’s own enrolment rules.
