TMR-02 Panel-Mount TM Probe (DS9092 compatible)
DS9092-compatible panel probe with M18×1 nut and 200 mm leads — the industry-standard front end.
The classic sprung contact receptor that mates with the F3/F5 can, and the part most controllers were designed around. A solid metal panel-mount body fixes through the panel with an M18×1 nut and suits material up to 3 mm thick; the sliding contact surface wipes itself clean every time a key is presented, which is why these probes keep working on entrance doors that nobody ever services. The self-aligning profile matches the circular rim of the can so the key seats correctly without the user aiming. Two pre-wired 200 mm leads — data on the centre contact, ground on the outer ring — connect straight to the controller.
The DS9092 footprint everyone already designed for
This is the reference probe of the whole category. The M18×1 thread and the panel cut-out it needs are what access controllers, time clocks and intercom panels have been built around for thirty years, so specifying TMR-02 means no new drawings, no new cut-out and no retraining for the installer. One installation caveat worth repeating from the datasheet: because the body is metal and the nut grounds it to the panel, the panel itself should be non-conductive — otherwise you can create a ground loop through the door. Where the panel is metal, use the TMR-04 with its insulating ABS capsule instead.
