TMR-05A Two-Wire Self-Adhesive TM Reader

The TMR-05 stripped to two wires — DATA and GND, nothing else to connect.

The same zinc-alloy body, the same 3M VHB adhesive back, the same 9.87 mm profile — without the LED. That leaves exactly two wires: red DATA and black GND. For the large number of controllers that have no spare output to drive an indicator, or installations where nobody is going to look at a light anyway, this is the version that gets fitted in a minute and never raises a wiring question. Peel, press, land two cores on the terminal block, done — no drilling, no nut, no cut-out, and no discussion about which colour means what.

Why this model

Two wires is the feature, not a limitation

Most reader faults on site are wiring faults, and every extra core is another chance to make one. The TMR-05A removes the LED pair entirely: red to DATA, black to GND, and there is no third possibility to get wrong. That matters when the installer is on a ladder, when the controller genuinely has no spare output, or when the reader goes somewhere nobody will ever glance at an indicator — a gate post, a plant-room door, an unattended cabinet. Everything else is identical to the TMR-05: same zinc-alloy face, same 3M VHB pad, same 9.87 mm depth, same optional screw holes. If you do want visual feedback, order the TMR-05 instead; the panel cut-out and mounting are unchanged, so you can mix both across one site.
