A different write routine — order it to match the machine
Do not infer identical controller behaviour or write procedures from the RW1990 and RW1990.2 names. Confirm each supplied version and test controller acceptance separately. Machines differ: some list only "RW1990", others list both, and support for .2 varies by model and firmware — a blank the machine does not support may simply not take the code. Check the blank list printed in your copier's manual, then order to match; if you serve mixed hardware, test a sample of each version on your own machines first.
