Latest-generation universal blank with the widest reader coverage.
One blank instead of three on the counter. The TM08v2 emulates the Dallas 1-Wire branch as well as the Cyfral and Metakom formats that dominate older CIS intercom estates, so a shop can answer almost any customer from a single bin. It writes with the familiar RW1990.1 routine, so duplicators that already handle RW1990 take it without a firmware change — which is why it has become the default counter stock for locksmiths who cannot predict what walks through the door.
One SKU covers Dallas, Cyfral and Metakom
Every other blank here speaks one dialect. A plain RW1990 will never open a Cyfral door, and an RW2000 will never open a Dallas one — so a shop stocking single-format blanks has to guess the mix, and turns away the customers it guessed wrong about. The TM08v2 removes that guess: three protocol families in one part number, written on the machine you already own. Where it does not fit is the "no re-copies" rule — it stays rewritable for life, so estates that ban that need the OTP blanks (TM-01A for Dallas, RW2000 for Cyfral/Metakom).

A 0.25 mm solid stainless shell, a UV-stable polypropylene grommet isolating lid from base, and the die bonded inside. Lid = data contact, base = ground return.
Which blank does your duplicator write?
Blanks differ less in the finished key than in how the copier writes them. Protocol names follow the routines used in mainstream and open-source duplicator firmware — check the blank list in your machine's manual before ordering.

Can one blank really open Dallas, Cyfral and Metakom doors?
Yes — that is what a multi-format blank is for. The TM08v2 emulates all three protocol families, so a shop can serve a mixed estate from one bin instead of guessing which format the next customer brings. Two caveats: your duplicator must be able to read and write the format in question, and newer protected systems (some Vizit panels from around 2014 onward moved to encrypted RFID) are outside the scope of any TM blank. Test with your own equipment before committing to volume.
Does TM08v2 need a special duplicator?
Usually not. It is written with the same RW1990.1 routine as the standard RW1990 blank, so any copier that already handles RW1990 can program it without a firmware update. What the machine does need is the ability to *read* Cyfral and Metakom originals in the first place — a Dallas-only reader will copy Dallas keys onto it perfectly well but cannot capture the other two formats.
